GIVEAWAY ITEM

Hello and welcome to Stitches of Love, today I'm posting a pic of the pretty silk ribbon embroidered pillow that was won by Lorena of Rose Chic Friends. Congratulations Lorena and I hope you enjoy this pretty pillow of silk, Irish Linen and scented with fresh lavender.

We have been so busy here at Stitches of Love! We have had a great response from the community and friends here in blogland on our yard party for donations of a yard of fabric. Because of their help we have made donations to Nursing Homes, Hospitals, Personal Care Homes, Veterans Hospitals and with the help of Madison's Cookbook Fund we have been able to give a donation (for travel expenses) along with a quilt to children in the community with a catastrophic illness.

We are now hosting a "Fantastic Fall Flannel Frenzy" for a donation of a yard of flannel, our next project is to make 60 quilts for a homeless shelter, where homeless people are able to come in for the night for a warm bed and a meal. We will work on these quilts over the winter. A big project that we are looking forward to!

Thank you so much to all of you that donated fabric, bought Madison's Cookbook and remembered us in your prayers!

Please pray for our children!

Blessings, All of us at Stitches of Love.

Hi Shirl, thankyou for your pink Sat post on my blog. This pillow is just gorgeous. I think I may need to learn how to do this work. I love it. I wanted to answer your question about the bunny swag. I do sell them, they are listed on my etsy shop. Thanks again and see you Sat. Char

Hello Shirl, I am such a DORK! I had 23 comments on my blog to moderate and like a dork I accidentally clicked on "REJECT" instead of PUBLISH! SO SORRY!!!
Your comment was one of those. I so want to count you in as part of the giveaway!!! Would you please comment again? I copied it from the email that was sent from the comment alert and it said:

"Hello, I found my way to you through Bunny Rose Cottage. Congrats on your 100th post. What a beautiful cake. Love your tatting. That's one thing I have not tried yet but inherited my husbands Great Aunt's sewing supplies and a tin of tatting was in it. I thought I might blog on it one day. I've left it just as she had it. So sweet!
Bless you, Shirl

P.S. Congrats to Rose Chic Friends! She is a doll! I'm so glad she won that beautiful item! It's gorgeous.

Hi-
This is a beautiful site!
Could someone please get this message to Marge Tierney for me? I have been busy teaching classes, plus I've been sick and haven't had time to turn around.
I had placed cookbooks at Gil-Co Faith Pharmacy in Glenville, and they were selling really well, but Gil-Co is letting another group sell cookbooks for awhile, so we have to stop now, but we can start up again on January 1. (They have a limited amount of space!)
There is one cookbook yet that hasn't been sold.
I will be over and pay up after I get paid (and can buy gas!) to pick up more books the weekend of October 23. I haven't gotten paid from GSC yet! I'm biting my fingernails...
Take care~
